1 year stats

Milo has been very busy growing and developing and all. Here are his 1 year stats:

Weight: 19lbs 15oz (10%ile)
Length: 28¾in (25%ile)
OFC: 18½in (50-75%ile)

Yay for finally getting up to the 25 percentile in length! We’ve waited a long time for this day. I swear this kid learns a new trick or word everyday. The following is more than any of you will care to know about our baby at any time, but I wanted to give a rundown so I can remember what he can do when I look back. Some of the best:

~Talking and mimicking. He tries to repeat a lot of what we say, and some of his favorite words are dada, mama, bob (bottle), duck, cracka (cracker), hiside (outside), ba (ball), dog, cat, car, done, and the all time favorites that I hear from the moment he wakes up, pointing frantically, “THAT!” and “THIS!”. That’s the catch all for everything. I love when you can tell he’s trying to say a word but can’t quite get it, like “Peak-A-Boo”, his voice fluctuates and he tries so hard!
~He has very clearly said the words Bella and Yahooo!, but won’t repeat them since no matter how hard I try. He’s good at repeating, but not so much at remembering.
~Body parts. He knows his tongue, head, and nose. He sometimes knows his belly and toes but forgets them still.
~He gives the sweetest, slimiest, open mouth kisses you ever wanted.
~He knows “lay down,” (sometimes he goes to a certain chair, pulls down a certain pillow, and dramatically flops his head down on it like he knows he is being so cute and funny. Show off.) He’ll put toys/balls/shoes/whatever he can find in basket when you ask him.
~He loves dancing and singing. The dancing is more of the crumping style, and the singing more of the American Idol castoff variety, but very entertaining.
~One of his favorite games is to play cars. He’ll drive anything around the house, making subtle “zoom zoom” sounds. So cute.
