I think you know you have a little boy and not a baby anymore when he starts posing for pictures and saying "CHIS!" (cheese). In the picture above he saw that I had the camera and walked over to the rock wall and stood there like, "How's this? I'm just being natural and cute..."
He's so grown up lately! Maybe it's the shaggy hair (which will never ever be cut). I'm not sad about him being big because he's awesome and hilarious and so much fun. This is my favorite age so far- the jibberish and the ways he's tries on purpose to be funny. He's so cute and to prove it, the following most recent shots:
I need to get some actual professional shots done and not just candids in the bathtub, but these will do for now.

Love him. Can't wait to hang out with him. I love this age too, minus the screaming that Ryker has started doing when he wants to bug me or when he doesn't get his way. They really are little boys now. Good thing since babies are on the way. Well...you have a baby on the way...

i wish milo still liked me, that way i could enjoy his humor. at the present he won't even look at me or devin. what happened?
Jami- I think it's the bird. It gave him nightmares.
He does look very grown up!!! I can't believe it. When did that happen, I just saw him last month.
what a cute dude! We tried to grow Coops hair but it looked like a super bad mullet so we had to cut it! The partial talking stage is the best...Coop asked for a Hockey Doggie (hot dog) the other day...when did our people get so big!
