So I know I've only been a mom for 9 days, but these are some things that I've found I can't live without:
1. The sling. Little buddy is curled up tight and snuggled against me (his favorite position), I have both hands free to cook, do laundry, whatever I want, I don't have to carry a heavy carseat, and he's trapped in my personal bubble so people don't feel like they can come up and get in his face. I love it!
2. The boppy pillow. Saves my back and I can just lay back and relax while I'm feeding him.
3. The book "What to Expect the First Year." Pretty standard, but it answered every question I had and let me know that my baby was normal and didn't have some weird disorder or disease. Love it!
4. Showers. I've gotten peed on at least 5 times this week. The one this morning hit me right in the face! At least baby pee seems less vile than adult pee. He's a tricky one too- I'll keep him covered a few extra minutes when I'm changing him and just when I think he would of had to have gone by now, he squirts me. Or right after I catch a squirt and think I'm safe, he'll go again. If anyone has any tricks, please let me know.

Congrats Erika! I've been gone since you had Milo and had no idea until today! I'm so happy for you, and glad to hear all went well. Let me know if you need anything. He is adorable!
No real tricks for that, boys are just naughty like that. I never got it in the face though, Milo's good! I want to say he'll outgrow it soon, but I have to say Luke just did it about a month ago!! Hello, 18 months! It does get better though. I loved the sling so much too w/Luke. Never had one w/the others, but a friend made me try hers w/Luke and I LOVED it so much, it was like he was a little pea in a pod. So cute. I wish I lived closer!!!
Maybe next time have a girl, they dont have the tools to be tricky like that. :) I am ready for some more pictures!!!!
